1. Turkey and Avocado Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of whole grain bread
- 2-3 slices of turkey breast
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- 1 handful of spinach leaves
- Mayonnaise and mustard (optional)
Instructions:
- Toast the bread slices if desired.
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer the turkey, avocado slices, cheddar cheese, and spinach leaves between the bread slices.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
2. Caesar Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup croutons
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
- Grilled chicken breast (optional)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, croutons, and Parmesan cheese.
- Add the Caesar dressing and toss to coat evenly.
- Top with sliced grilled chicken breast if desired.
- Serve immediately.
3. Chicken Wrap
Ingredients:
- 1 large tortilla wrap
- 1 grilled chicken breast, sliced
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Ranch dressing or hummus (optional)
Instructions:
- Lay the tortilla wrap flat and spread ranch dressing or hummus over the center.
- Layer the sliced chicken, avocado, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese on top of the dressing.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
- Cut the wrap in half and serve.
4. Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce
Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the marinara sauce and cook until warmed through.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the spaghetti to serving plates and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
- Serve immediately.
